There is always that one product that is just out of reach but is in all aspects amazing. In Golf Irons terms, this is the Callaway Tour Authentic X-Prototype Irons series. Created for professionals and hand-crafted to make every shot formidable, these irons really are a dream to play with. Unfortunately they’ll set you back a good $1500, if you’re lucky.
So what exactly is so special about these clubs?
Well first of all they are forged from a unique steel-carbon composite that really feels amazing. This is probably the best thing about the clubs: they are perfectly weighted. Swinging with these irons is a breeze and missing the sweet spot will become a thing of the past. When using these clubs the most beneficial aspect was that they are so easy to use that I didn’t find my swing deteriorating later in the game, it was good the whole time.
With these clubs my shots were right on the money, almost every time. Not just that but they look really, really good. People really look at you twice when you walk on the course with these bad boys.
In conclusion, if you have the money, go for it. If you don’t, then don’t get too hung up about it. Fortunately there are plenty of good and cheaper alternatives that, in all probability, are actually better value than this set of clubs.
