Mizuno MP-62 Irons Review
A truly impressive set of irons, if you know what you’re doing. Not for novices, these irons require quite a bit of skill to hit them right, but if you do, boy will they work well.
Less forgiving than a number of other irons, including the Mizuno MP-52 irons, these irons require a little more skill to get just right. That’s not to say that they are completely unforgiving, they will help you out at times but generally you have to have a pretty solid technique under your belt.
If you do have a pretty solid technique, then these will work great for you. With an improved cavity, these irons will push the ball far and will be as accurate as an arrow. The swing feels nice, too. The shaft is light enough to be easy to swing and sturdy enough to give you a nice hit without much vibration. You will get a good amount of distance and spin with these irons which combines to make them a formidable force on the course.
In conclusion, these clubs are excellent and will not disappoint if you have a good technique and good swing. If on the other hand you are a beginner, you may want to try another set of irons. Having said this, some beginners still decide to go for the MP-62 irons so that they make sure that they get the shot right every time! One thing about these clubs is that you will know immediately when you have hit a good shot or a bad shot. And when you hit a good shot it really will make people stop and stare.
Although the MP-62 irons cost a little more than some others on the market, they are an excellent choice for anyone looking to move beyond beginner-friendly clubs.
