TaylorMade Burner Plus Irons Review

A set of irons that is pretty good at everything. If you are a player who has no particular strengths or weaknesses and is just looking for a good improvement-iron, then this could be for you. Created by addidas under the name TaylorMade, these irons do a better job than Nike in my humble opinion.

These clubs are a well rounded and solid set of irons. They are excellent at giving you a good distance and height. The long lightweight shaft doesn’t just make the swing feel good but also allows you get the ball as far as you need it. The club is specially designed to make the ball spin when you hit (at around three hundred revolutions a minute) to maintain accuracy in flight. There is almost no slice with these clubs and they feel great to the touch.

The head is oversized which means that they are quite forgiving on shots. You don’t have to hit the sweet spot perfectly to get a good shot. On top of this, if you have problems hitting a 3 or 4 iron then you can pick up a Burner Rescue club for around another $100.

To top it all off, they also look pretty good. If you are looking to improve all the aspects of your game then these are probably the clubs for you. The clubs will serve you well whether you are playing well or badly on the day, thanks to the forgiving head.
